My name is Natalia Bostrom. I am a recently separated service member that moved to Ohio May 2015. After filing for unemployment I was given a Log In for Ohio Means Jobs. After logging in I was able to go under the Veteran section of the website. Under that section I was able to plug in my military skills from my previous experience and received emails on potential job opportunities that relate to what I've learned in the Navy as a Recruiter. With those emails I was connected with Butler County Veteran's Services Commission post in June about a Receptionist Job that needed to be filled.
After applying, I interviewed, and a week later was hired. Thanks to effectiveness of the Veteran section of Ohio Means Jobs I can proudly work in a new state and county and continue to serve with other Veterans two months after transitioning out of the Navy.
I hope this can validate that Ohio Means Jobs Veterans is great tool and asset to any Veteran looking to take what they've learned in the military and apply it in the work force as a civilian. Thank you for your time and attention.
Very Respectfully, Natalia Bostrom
